Hey Everyone, my name is Sydney Hassell and I'm a third-year student in the IAD program with a focus in the new Interior Product and Retail concentration and a Minor In real estate! I was born and raised in Englewood Colorado and graduated from Englewood High School. I am a first generation and I always dreamed about being an interior designer since I was a little girl. I found a home at CSU because of its amazing IAD program, the school spirit, and a place close to family.

 

I currently have a work-study position as a front desk receptionist at the Biology building. Outside ASID I'm a member of the Ram Country Dance Club and I'm learning how to line dance and swing dance with friends. For fun, I love shopping, reading, and driving up to Horsetooth for a perfect sunset.

 

I am a new member of ASID and hold the new IPR representative and I can't wait to meet new people in my program and make connections outside of CSU. Now that the new IPR concentration has begun my goal is to introduce to current and new students the possibilities and amazing opportunities IPR can open. I'm excited to see how to program will evolve!
