CSU ASID President

Hello, my name is Emme Thompson, and I am the President-Elect of the ASID chapter here at CSU! I am in my third year in the Interior Architecture and Design program. I graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument, Colorado. I chose CSU because I knew I wanted to study interior design from a young age, and I was very excited about the design program and all it had to offer! I also love all of the outdoor activities here in Colorado, and I knew I wanted to stay.

My focus area is in psychology. I am very interested in how our spaces impact our well-being. I am also pursuing a minor in Apparel and Merchandising. I have always been passionate about clothing design, and I am excited to incorporate this passion into my education.

I am excited to utilize my position as President-Elect to help my peers make connections with upperclassmen and design professionals and get more involved in our major. I am also excited to assist in the planning of events to engage design students.

ASID has allowed me to make relationships with upperclassman and gain support as I have gone through the program. I love the unique opportunities and experiences this organization has given me. I look forward to broadening my connections and gaining more useful experience through opportunities in ASID.
